What we store for the waitlist
Your e-mail address, the language you signed up in, the time you signed up and the version of the consent text you saw. Nothing else: no IP address and no cookies.
Why, and on what basis
The waitlist exists only to send you one e-mail when Billcalm is available. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it any time by writing to hello@billcalm.com or replying to our e-mail; this doesn't affect anything done before. Keeping bots out (Turnstile, a short-lived per-IP request limit) and counting visits (see Page statistics) rest on our legitimate interest in running this site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who processes it
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website, stores the list in the European Union, runs Turnstile, a check that uses your IP address and browser signals to tell people from bots, and runs the page statistics described below. Transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long
Until Billcalm launches. The list is deleted within 30 days after the launch e-mail is sent, or earlier if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, receive a copy of it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at hello@billcalm.com. You can also complain to the Croatian data protection authority, AZOP (azop.hr).
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own. The light/dark theme switch in the header saves your choice in your browser's local storage; nothing is sent anywhere. Page statistics: see below.
Page statistics
To see how many people visit and where they come from, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. When a page loads, your browser sends Cloudflare the page address, the page you came from, your browser and device type, and how fast the page loaded. Cloudflare works out your country from your IP address and does not store the address; no cookie or other identifier is set, so visits cannot be linked to you or followed across sites. We see only totals; Cloudflare keeps the data for up to six months. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running this site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at hello@billcalm.com, and a content blocker that blocks cloudflareinsights.com stops the measurement. Cloudflare, Inc. processes this for us under its privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).
The app
This notice covers the website only. How the Billcalm app handles your mail and bills is described on the home page and will get its own notice at launch.
